The
cost of studying at the University as a
non-local student is approximately HK$110,000
per year for government-funded programmes,
including tuition fee, hostel fee and other
living expenses. For programmes that are
charged on a credit unit basis, and for
non-government funded programmes, the tuition
fees are set at a higher level. Non-local
students should note that though there is
student residence on campus, there is no
guarantee that a hall place will be available.
Students should be prepared to arrange their
own off-campus accommodation if deemed necessary.
1)
Senior
high school certificate or equivalent:
Candidates will be required to take a foundation
year of study [or additional credits of
around 30 credits] if admitted; or
2) Satisfactory
completion of one year of study at a recognized
university (for entry to year-one study)
3) Applicants whose entrance
qualification is obtained in a language
other than English will need an acceptable
result in an approved English language qualification
such as TOEFL (213 computer-based test/
550 paper-based test/ 79 internet-based
test) or IELTS (score 6). 4) In addition
to the General Entrance Requirements, individual
programmes may prescribe subject requirements
specific to the programme.
Normally 1 year of successful study at a recognized university. In exceptional cases, students who have achieved excellent grades in Immumgye Kodung Hakkyo
Choeupchang (Academic Upper Secondary School Certificate) may be considered for direct entry to degree programmes

Single Room:
Around USD 930 per semester per person
For Postgraduates (most of the rooms are for single occupancy):

Around USD 321 - USD 397 per semester per person
For accommodation outside campus, the rental could be in the range of USD700-USD1,200 a month depending on the size, location and type of accommodation.
Other Living Expenses
The cost of living in Hong Kong is estimated to be around USD5,130 a year for a single student including meals, transport, laundry, and education expenses for books and stationery.
1) Student Visa
Non-local
students are persons who require a student
visa/entry permit issued by the Hong Kong
Immigration Department to enter Hong Kong
for the purpose of education. It is the
students' responsibility to obtain a valid
student visa/entry permit, and to comply
with the terms and conditions of the visa/permit.

2) Programme Details and
Entrance Requirements
The
University offers over 140 programmes from
associate degree, bachelor's degree, taught
postgraduate degree to research degree levels.
The University's medium of instruction is
English. Non-local applicants whose entrance
qualification is obtained from an institution
where the medium of instruction is not English
should fulfill the University's minimum
English Proficiency requirement before enrolment.
